-True Ballistic Range for Rifles & Bows

-Not all angle compensating rangefinders are created equal. Leupold's TBR rangefinders allow users to program ballistic groups for more accurate "shoot to distance" delivering sub 1/2 MOA accuracy at 600 yds. Competitive rangefinders that reference "ballistics" or "angle-compensated distances" calculate the mathematical horizontal distance - known as rifleman's rule. Rifleman's rule is only effective at shorter distances, smaller angles or in pressure vacuums. Why risk your shot on your next mountain adventure? Use the most accurate tool - use a Leupold.

-TBR Correction Methods

-MOA - Minute of Angle to adjust (rifle only)

-MIL - Milliradians to adjust (rifle only)

-HOLD - Inches or centimeters to hold over (rifle only)

-BAS - Ballistically calculated horizontal distance in yards/meters

*Note:TBR for rifles is effective to 800 yards. TBR for bows is effective to 175 yards.

-DNA Engine Improves Laser Ranging Accuracy

-DNA (Digitally enhanced Accuracy), makes significant improvements in what matters most; distance measurement accuracy and displayed range precision. Advanced signal processing techniques in the DNA engine raises the bar of the laser measurements with 0.5 yard accuracy of distance measurements and the displayed range precision using 1/10th yard increments out to 125 yards.

-Trophy Scale

-Instantly judge the width (or height) of a target using Trophy Scale. Hunting moose in the Yukon or Whitetails across a beanfield? Trophy Scale will give you visual assurance of the animal's width at any distance you range. Just Pre-set the scale to represent your desired width and you will get a visual indicator for your preferred width at any practical distance.
