For starters, on the outside, it has a shoulder pocket on the left, two upper zip pockets on the chest, two lower pockets with lovely “Canadian” buttons (The term for buttons that are oversized so they can easily be opened with mittens and gloves on) and it even has a stow-able hood in a velcro pouch behind the hood.
